Screw Compressor Common Fault Guide
Time:2017-09-27 08:58
Failure phenomenon: the exhaust temperature of the unit is high (over 100°C) and the coolant level of the unit is too low (it should be seen from the oil sight glass, but not more than half); Dirty oil cooler; The oil filter core is blocked; Temperature control valve failure (component failure); The oil cut-off solenoid valve is not powered or the coil is damaged; The diaphragm of the oil cut-off solenoid valve is broken or aged; Fan motor failure; Cooling fan damage; the exhaust pipe is not unblocked or the exhaust resistance (back pressure) is large; The ambient temperature exceeds the specified range (38G or 46 min); Temperature sensor failure (Intellisys control
Fault phenomenon: unit exhaust temperature is high (more than 100°C)
- The coolant level of the unit is too low (it should be seen from the oil sight glass, but not more than half);
- Dirty oil cooler;
- The oil filter core is blocked;
- Temperature control valve failure (component failure);
- The oil cut-off solenoid valve is not energized or the coil is damaged;
- Oil-cut solenoid valve diaphragm rupture or aging;
- Fan motor fault;
- The cooling fan is damaged;
- The exhaust pipe is not smooth or the exhaust resistance (back pressure) is large;
- The ambient temperature exceeds the specified range (38mm or 46mm);
- Temperature sensor fault (Intellisys control unit);
- Whether the pressure gauge is faulty (relay control unit).
Fault phenomenon: large oil consumption of the unit or large oil content of compressed air
- Too much cooling dose;
- The oil return pipe is blocked;
- The installation of the oil return pipe (the distance from the bottom of the oil separation core) does not meet the requirements;
- The pressure of the unit is too low;
- The oil separation core is broken;
- The unit has oil leakage;
- Deterioration or extended use of coolant.
Fault phenomenon: unit pressure is low
- The actual gas consumption is larger than the output gas of the unit;
- Bleed valve fault (cannot be closed when loaded);
- Intake valve fault;
- Failure of hydraulic cylinder;
- Load solenoid valve (1SV) fault
- The minimum pressure valve is stuck;
- There is leakage in the user pipe network;
- Pressure setting too low;
- Pressure sensor fault (Intellisys control unit);
- Pressure gauge fault (relay control unit);
- Pressure switch fault (relay control unit);
- Pressure sensor or pressure gauge input hose leaks;
Fault phenomenon: unit exhaust pressure is too high
- Intake valve fault;
- Failure of hydraulic cylinder;
- Load solenoid valve (1SV) fault;
- Pressure setting too high;
- Pressure sensor fault (Intellisys control unit);
- Pressure gauge fault (relay control unit);
- Pressure switch fault (relay control unit).
Fault phenomenon: large unit current
- The voltage is too low;
- Loose wiring;
- The pressure of the unit exceeds the rated pressure;
- The oil separation core is blocked;
- Fault of contactor;
- Host fault;
- Main motor fault;
Fault phenomenon: the unit cannot start
- The fuse is damaged;
- The temperature switch is damaged;
- Loosen the wiring;
- Main motor thermal relay acts;
- The thermal relay of the fan motor operates;
- The transformer is broken;
- Intellisys without power input (Intellisys control unit);
- Fault not eliminated (Intellisys control unit);
- Intellisys controller fault.
Fault phenomenon: large current or trip when the unit starts
- User air switch problem;
- The input voltage is too low;
- Star-delta conversion interval is too short (should be 10~12 seconds);
- Hydraulic cylinder fault (not reset);
- Intake valve fault (too large opening degree or stuck);
- Loose wiring;
- Host fault;
- Main motor fault;
- 1TR time relay is broken (relay control unit).
